But my account and skills I spent building are on RS3 and if I were to visit OSRS I would have to begin anew. From what I hear RS3 includes a whole lot more information and is easier and quicker to level up yet OSRS is what I know and recognise, if I try out the new RS3 and attempt get used to the new mechanics or simply stick with Winrsgold OSRS Gold? Would really like to hear from either side (will also be posting this in the OSRS subreddit).
I can not live with no QoL improvements to RS3 Nowadays. Notably the toolbelt, lodestones, and hotbar. How I see it, not needing the options in OSRS does not make RuneScape harder, just longer times doing less variety of activities. But if you are a fan of PVP, then OSRS is the place. You might even use the Runelite customer for OSRS which does something RS3 doesn't, like an XP tracker that you don't have to pay for. But in the end, RS3 is the fun game if you ask me.
Can I be at a disadvantage utilizing legacy mode vs somebody who is utilizing EoC? Or bossing? EoC will get you higher dps. However, you can just set up your hotbar and revolution will activate whatever is the first ability not on cooldown, which means that you won't have to be worried about it until endgame, where you may want to learn some more active strategies. Here's a fairly good setup assuming you've got the levels for them.
Legacy is definitely gets weaker the minute it gets, but you can ease into EoC through revolution by setting activity bars up which mechanically throw skills while performing Slayer, so you essentially just click on an enemy such as in legacy, also can learn abilities through that. Also, EoC has got AoE skills, so even Slayer is much faster. For bossing, the majority of them have mechanisms that are legacy manner so overall you do less DPS and require more damage, but it's still doable if you really wish to.
If EOC was the problem for you, you can either forget about it being set and use the best bar, or you may just change to legacy battle style. I like RS3 because each day I play I feel like I am making progress. Whether it be amounts, or farming animals, or building on Anachronia, or quests, there's just lots of approaches to remain engaged. The grind can be actual although with OSRS I feel a lot more nostalgia playing and buy rs gold paypal no id.
